The 2004 film, Sideways, inspired wine drinkers the world over to mimic snooty remarks like, “No, if anyone orders Merlot, I’m leaving. I am NOT drinking any fucking Merlot!” I went to see this movie. I sat in the theater. And while others chuckled throughout the entire 124 minutes, the only thing I realized….I was in the dark. It’s no surprise that I was delighted to find a podcast devoted to the distinguished art of drinking. Much like Miles and Jack (of Sideways), Joe and Lori (of A Guy, A Girl and A Bottle Podcast) embark on adventures throughout California’s wine country.
